I have a really loving, smart, beautiful friend who is making a dramatic change in her life.  I caught this quote on Twitter this last weekend, and fell in love with it.  It sums it up.  It really does.  My friend is going to almost do the Eat, Pray, Love

scenario from the bestselling book.  Least that is how I see it.  I'm sure she doesn't quite see it that way, but I'm thinking she needs some time to heal herself, find her life, and become whole again as to what that will mean to her. 

Actually I ended up being the catalyst to her wanderings or soon to be wanderings without even realizing that I started a chain reaction in her.  I've been looking for nursing jobs online, why not?  I need a per diem position or something different to supplement my income, and I have a need (always) to learn and continue to grow in my field.  There are travel nurse jobs to Saudi Arabia.  I thought, hmmm, kinda interesting in a wanderlust sorta way.  I sent the link to her as sort of a joke and then not.  Just one of those moments, ya know?  Now she is almost done packing to go there. 

I received a text from her yesterday whilst I was slaving away at the salt mines.  I knew something was up, and hoping she was ok and all that.  I met with her for a bit after work, and found out what she is planning, doing and some of the reasonings behind it all.  I am so in awe and impressed with her.  She is an awesome nurse, doncha know?   I only associate with the best *snort* don't I wish, but only the best that I trust and consider excellent to care for me or one of my family....now that says alot my peeps.  Yes indeed, it does.

I love my friend and she is not only one helluva a nurse, but she is one helluva a person.  I am blessed to know her and have her in my life.
