I have a gripe

Well, lets just say I shouldn't have one, cuz today at work was a good day.  I even got outta work early, census is low again.  Then again we did transfer 4-5 patients out of ICU today.  No matter.  Got off early.  Went and bought my fat cats some more kibble and walked next door to Sport's Authority and bought myself some swim boardshorts to go over my bikini bottoms.  Why, you may ask?  It is for the surfing my friends.  I ain't straddling a board in my bikini bottoms thank you very much once the water is > 72 degrees F.  Yes, you have to straddle a board, like riding a horse.  You definitely don't sit politely on a surfboard for those of you out of the surf loop.  Plus, I might as well surf naked whilst trying to paddle, cuz I'm sure I would be adjusting my bikini bottom out of my crack with one hand, then "pop-up" on the board, while trying to stay balanced.  Too much worrying bout showing crack and front view thank you to all that care.

Yeah, just try to surf in this....hahahahaha!!

I would pretty much lose my bottoms, I swear I would, even tho they are tri specific bikini bottoms.  Anyhooo, now it is just waiting for the water to warm up so I don't have to put on my wetsuit prior to surfing.

My big gripe today is my contacts, ughgghghghghgggghhhhhh!!  Yes, I should just deal with my glasses and forgeeht about it!  I do, I do, but at work I shove them on top of my head when I'm not pulling drugs, charting or hanging blood, etc.  I would much rather deal with contacts, but my eyes, my stooopid pitiful eyes, argh!!!  I recently requested from my lovely, independent optometrist that works out of Costco, for something to try other than Oaysis contacts since after 1 day of use and blurred vision to boot I can't tolerate them.  Soooo, she gave me a sample of a diff type of contacts.  Hey, at least I can see without the blurred off/on vision, but man....at work my eyes dry out, itch, water (just like before)

....it is lovely look let me tell ya.  I will just have to try and adjust I guess.  Tho, I have to be really careful not to put my hands/fingers up to my eyes at work at all if I can help it, even tho I wash, gel, wash again, and lose precious skin from said washing and gelling constantly.  I don't want a rip roaring eye infection that is for sure.  I guess I have "sensitive eyes."  Yes, yes, there is a story behind that my peeps.  I know, I have you on the edge of your puter chairs, don't I?  Long story short is that I took my daughter, after waiting longer than a month to get in mind you, to an Opthamologist to check why she is having a reaction to her contacts per her PMD.  The Otho stated, "that she should not be living in CA (you see she is a redhead, fair-skinned, beautiful individual, with light-colored eyes to boot), so of course her eyes are xtra sensitive."  Like, WTH?  We waited for an appt to see you to hear this BS?  Lovely.  Anyhow, she gave her an Rx for new contacts, but get this, the size she wrote on the Rx doesn't exist.  Like really?  ........

So back to my peepers.  Yes, they are still watering here.  I took my contacts out 2hrs ago, flushed out my eyes with rehydrating eye rinse crap, then used artificial tears...then re-rinsed. 

I guess at least I can see well enuf to type this gripe of mine...owelllmayoeepppp.......??
