It's been a wild weekend already my 2 loyal blog fans. Yes. Yes, it has. This is the double-whammy weekend my friends. The lets kill n~ and take no survivors weekend. Yes, it is that time of year again. 2 out of 3 of my kidlets have B-Days this weekend. They are 3 days and 3yrs apart mind you, but it ain't the years mind you it is the DAYS. I should be used to this. It has been 17yrs of weekend B-Days (whether on weekends or not) since Alex showed up. I learned very early on to keep both B-Days as seperate as I possibly can. Ya know, each one deserves their own day. I'm just so very glad that I didn't have a kid on Christmas or something.
Tho, my 20yo son went out with friends last nite and sorta gave the boot to his B-Day in general. I know he still cares that we care. My daughter turns 17 on Monday. Holy crapolii!! Went Xtreme shopping with her today with her and spent $$ on her for her B-Day. It is all good, but man, I'm really not used to doing the Xtreme shopping anymore. I mean WTF? I'm a chick and all, right? Guess I'm losing my edge. Now when I go out, I just go directly to stores I want to purchase from and then call it a day. Nope, she had to go thru the entire mall, plus Target and Marshalls (tho Marshalls was my idea). Yeah, I do have some $$ left, I think. At least I'm not shopping for Prom this year--- DOH!! I told Alex that she would have to foot the bill for Prom herself or do a dress "rental" which is really a great idea and business from what I've heard.
Anyhow, HAPPY B-DAY to my two youngest peeps. ♥ you guys. xoxo
That is my girl (grand-daughter) who loves to shop like me. Way to go my lovely G.D!!!
