I ♥ my friends!!

First off today is my 47th B-Day for the two of you not keeping up.  Yeah, I'm talking about YOU!  I was having a tough time of turning 47 about a week or so ago, then I got over myself.  I mean, really?  What age or time frame would I like to time travel back to?  Nada is the final answer.  I would never want to revisit my teen years, once is more than enough for me,

and as for any other time period...weeell....I've decided I'm happy just where I am at this time, thank you very much. 

Enough of the pity pot for this girl.  Today is my frickin day...YAY FOR ME!!

Now to get to the real meat and potatoes of this post.  I really and truly am blessed with some mighty great friends.  I love all of you guys.  Yes, yes I do!  Not only do you send me well wishes through FB and email, you text me, and just make me plain happy that I am who I am.  I'm not sure if I deserve you guys as my friends, but I'm damn happy the guy above placed you in my life.  Now granted, sometimes things aren't so rosy with us, but hey, we tell it like it like it is to each other.  If my jeans make me look like large Marge, you will tell me and vice versa.  If you think I need to put my big girl panties on and confront something that I'm not wanting to confront...you tell me.  Sometimes gently and other times straight up.  I appreciate it and love ya all the more for it.

Life would be truly boring and would pretty much suck without you guys, my friends, in it.  So a toast to you and me, since it is my B-day and all.  Remember, it is 5 p.m. somewhere, so raise those glasses.
