I finally got a run in today after 2 wks pretty much of sickness and no running. Tho it was a shortie it was still delightfully sweeeeet!I just sorta ran thru the closest surrounding neighborhood. It's sorta hard to plan a 15min run, and where to go, the logistics are mind boggling to say the least. Also, what to wear, how much gu to bring, should or should I not bring G-ade? Ya know.....logistics for god's sake! I did sorta feel all jelly like in the mid-section thanks to all the inactivity. Maybe it is just Christmas and I have the need to feel like Santa. Very jolly and rOUnd. Yep, I think ol' Santa and I have something in common now, or at least my brain tells me we do.
Another reason the OMG! title of this enrty is that I actually went to the pool today. Hardly anyone there after the manatee class *ahem* water aerobics class that is. All was good. I didn't drown and I noticed that my swimming endurance reallly sucks BIG time. That is a given I guess since I haven't been in the water in at least a month or more and that was only x1 that month. Enjoyed it and realized I better use my gym membership periodically since I am paying monthly for the darn thing.Ok, with all of this activity I guess it time to rest. Sounds good to me.
