Really? Like WTF?

Life has been a very strange bedfellow lately.  In fact, I'm ready to kick this bedfellow out of my bed at times. 

Let's just say.....I've had enuf life changing events lately and leave it at that.  No more.  Not going to happen.  You hear what I'm saying up there or what?  Yeah, you best hear me and listen up.  I would call you names, but I've been there and done that so many times in the last few months...I dunno what to call you anymore, but don't test me, cuz I know I can think of a few more if I have to.

Unfortunately, my 2nd Dad passed away while we were in paradise no less.  Trying to heal from one tragedy, and then another one steps on it's heels.  I don't call Doug my Step Dad, which he was, but basically he was my 2nd Dad from about age 16-17 til July 8th.  You (Doug) have no idea how much you impacted our lives (my brothers and my mom).  I am so grateful to have known you, to have loved you and to have called you my Dad for all of these years.  Please, play your golf on your golf course up there that sits alongside Trent's beach.  Have a margi or two with your grandson, and know that I miss you both daily, and love you both.

K, as far as I'm concerned enuf drama/trauma in my life...ENUF!!

After getting back from Maui, then making a road trip to UT.   Mitch and I decided to partake in the Alien Jerky Store.  This lovely shop is located in the wonderful, nuanced city of Baker (it has the world's largest outdoor thermometer doncha know?)...p'bly bout an hr outside of Vegas headed towards home on the I-15.  I have made plenty of trips to Vegas over the years, and had yet to stop at the Alien Store...so cool, and very excited I was.  Tho I will have you know I did the Alien or ET marathon a few yrs back that routes thru Area 51...just saying is all.    Anyhooo, the Alien Shop was hysterical to say the least.  They have hot sauces with names like "Colon Cleanser", "Smack Betty's Ass" or something to that nature, "See Dick Smoke", See "Jane" do something or other, and Spot...who r'mbers about Spot I ask?  Oh, and they also have Alien Jerky---hence the name.  Jerky like "Abducted Cow Jerky", etc.  I really think it is Alien Ass Jerky or perhaps human jerky....you know, sorta like "To Serve Man" of the Twilight Zone series. 

Anyhoooo, great fun was had for about 20 minutes or so.  Next time I travel towards Vegas we will stop at the Mad Greek's Cafe.
