Yep, that pretty much sums it up lately. Actually, more like the last 6mos or so, or possibly even longer, but who is counting?
I am sooo frickin ass tired sometimes it is scary. I slept about 10hrs last nite. No, not non-interrupted, but still....10 frickin hrs my peeps, and I'm still tired!! I woke up tired, and this isn't the 1st time I'm waking up tired.
I'm not super stressed right now. In fact, life is pretty damn good lately. Yes, I work long hrs and am on my feet pretty much all day when I work.
Yes, I have gone back to FT, which means I work an xtra day every other week or so, but still........
Yes, I run, but my mileage and run times have been cut back the last month or so, cuz of injury...so what the hell?
I did some slight, quasi research on perimenopause. Well, I am 48 after all, tho I still have my period, yeah, TMI, get over it you weenie babies. Guess what? One of the symptoms of perimenopause (along with a host of others that I won't get into) is/are: EXTREME FATIGUE AND DEPRESSION. Like no shit! Tell me something I didn't already know. Tell me how to combat the fatigue issue, cuz I'm really over it already. I already know that Lexapro and Xanax have become my BFFs in the last couple of yrs, but what about fatigue damn it?! Nada...they suggest to see your MD and discuss possible Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Really? That is ambiguous at best and CFS is like Fibromyalgia....vague and a blanket statement for "I'm your doc, but I really don't know what the fuck is going on with you, so this is the diagnosis you get today."
As you all know, I switch my diet around, I eat as clean as possible, drink lots of water...nada. Then I go back to my heathen ways...wine, bread, pasta, sweets...same shit.....I actually lose weight on my heathen existence, go figure that one. Soooo diet is overrated for me at least. What? What then?
I'm open to ideas.....HELLOOOOOO????
