My Center

As all my 2 readers know...I love the beach.  I can't lay on the beach for an extended period of time due to my fragile "whiteness", but I love the coast.  It centers me, calms me, and does something to me that no other place I go seems to do to my soul.  Yeah, you may think me strange, but get the flock over it already.  :-)

I decided to hit the beach early today.  Tho traffic sorta fought against me for a bit, but I won out eventually.  It was an awesome day all around.  I watched the news early and I know that NYC is getting major snow, and we are getting major SUN!!!

Of course, I'm not just going to the beach to lounge.  I have 2 agendas mind you.  I have to do my run with speedwork thrown in for fun...yeah lotso fun was had.

 Then I get to lounge on the sand. 

Did my run, with speedwork along the hard packed sand mind you.  Awesome!

Decided to drive from C'bad beach to Ponto.  Got situated was lying there relishing the sun, and slight wind.  Of course, I have a lovely strip of sand all to myself and then some moms decide to come up right behind me and park themselves and their loud, cute (but obnoxious) kidlets....ugh!  I maybe relaxed for 20 min total before this came about. 

Hit a friend's abode after.....and she has the cutest puppy ever!!  I might adopt, tho there are limited restrictions, but I might just cross the line.  Is this the cutest little girl or what?
