Yes, I think summer is trying to make an definite appearance here in So. Ca. Right now, the temps are moderate 80ish-90 at max. I'm sure that will change here in a few weeks as we start creeping into June. Like Bri, I'm def not a big 100 degree fan by any means. 85 is my max and after that I'm just plain damn grumpy about it. I figure at least in the winter/spring I can add layers and take said layers off, sorta like an onion (yeah, I recently watched The Blind Side), but in the summer...nada, and I don't really want to peel skin off, tho at times I have considered it when we hit above the 100+ mark.
Anyhoooo here we go!
On another note, had another great run today. I'm just gliding lately. I've hit my sweet spot, so I know it won't last long, cuz training will have to be tweaked a little and increased. Tho, I am savoring every single moment of sweet whilst I'm out there. Still trying to get my mind around the 33 miler coming up...in like what, 2 weeks now? Holy crap Batman! Too soon, too soon! Like I said, I have to get my mental game on, starting like real soon here-doh!
I still haven't figured out exactly what to put in my "drop bag."
I mean, it's not like I'm running a 50 miler where a drop bag would be a big ass deal. Tho, I know for sure I will p'bly put a pair of socks in, maybe some body lube of some sort, sunscreen, and maybe another gel or two, but by mile 17 (1st drop bag pick up) I may not want gels at all, blech! I dunno, any recommendations, aside from the smart ass remarks, I will appreciate.

33 miles?? Holy crap, girlfriend, that's a lot of running! I think you need to throw some petite scones into your bag. I'm just sayin'....
