Yummy 4 my tummy!

So, like today I'm really tired.  Went to Costco, then went to Petsmart and bought some cat niblets for my 4 felines, came home took a nap, read Brian's newest blog post/commented, fell asleep again.  Like what the monkey?

Anyhow, since I don't seem to have much energy or motivation for anything else I decided to search WS (williams sonoma) for some new recipes (FYI most of their recipes are da bomb, no shit!).  Now I don't always make a gourmet meal, but every few weeks or so I do like to dabble.  I know, alert the local firestation and all...please do by the way.

I mean, who can resist this.

Sorry to all those vegans out there.  Tho, it AIN'T me!  That is for sure!  I would be much more frickin anemic than I am already if I didn't partake in red meat once in awhile.  Ummm tho I do like both kinds of  meat...*ahem*

Getting back to the cooking, yeah, yeah, that's what I was talking about....riiiight.  You are reading a chicki who purchased Julia Child's cookbook after seeing Julie & Julia.  I know, I'm sooo gullible (see prior blog postings), but hey, I thought the movie was really good.  I also never cared for Julia Child in my younger days when I watched her on TV.  Thought she was sorta pompous in a way.  After the movie, it sorta put her in a whole new light more or less.

I've only cooked one recipe from her book and whenever a dutch oven is called for I use my crockpot.  Yes, I have a dutch oven, but whatever and the crockpot takes less energy than my oven to cook over 8hrs or so.

Well tonite will be Taco's ala RP.  Nothing real special, but again whatever.  Now next week I have some major gourmet plans.  Watch out for your backside Julia.
